Maybe...Strange the pines are dying or dead and sad.
Maybe this due to a caterpillar invasion and not enough birds to eat them or to an over-treatment with pesticides and roundup in the field close by.
Nearly all birds are in decline for these reasons, poisoned or not enough insects to feed on.
And this weather does not help nature...
Keep well Pete!Noushkahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11583459949373167021noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3003192502289547336.post-70322077707283392022013-05-19T17:47:19.768+01:002013-05-19T17:47:19.768+01:00Its a very worrying trend Pete, all these reports ...Its a very worrying trend Pete, all these reports I'm reading about birds being thin on the ground :-(

Warren Bakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16042798315431561018noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3003192502289547336.post-32046076107421523452013-05-19T15:03:11.676+01:002013-05-19T15:03:11.676+01:00nice dippernice dipperAdamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08051255914419363819noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3003192502289547336.post-10521242006702522322013-05-19T11:44:34.845+01:002013-05-19T11:44:34.845+01:00I was there on Thusday as was Maurice Jones and fr...I was there on Thusday as was Maurice Jones and friends and no sign of any Pied Flycatcher all day! Or Spotted. Cuckoo was heard in the distance. Maurice had 3 Crossbill in the plantation, I had Buzzard and Kestrel over, Mistle Thrush, Dipper, Grey Wagtail and usual Curlew and Oystercatchers, 2 Wheatear, Red Legged Partridge, Red Grouse near the road! (no heather?), Nuthatch late on, Common Sandpiper, 2 Pied Wagtails, plenty of Meadow Pipits, Swallows, a few Sand Martin and a few Chaffinches, otherwise very quiet!geoff gradwellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06299616924938041898noreply@blogger.com
