Birdwatch - Arctic Tern migration revealed
Bearing in mind my post on 13 February re the Arctic Tern take a look at this in the link below.
Hello Would be good if tracking devices were put on some north Scandinavian birds, then we might see a route via Morecambe Bay & thence overland, certainly at least more generally 'via the Irish sea'. I read this article and was surprised that Birdwatch did not indicate that these are populations which rarely or ever come into contact with the British Isles, especially on spring migration
