Hi Pete. Did you, by any chance, decide to clean up images from your smartphone? I've heard of people that have done this and not realised that a whole raft of images on their phone were NOT ACTUALLY ON THE PHONE, but the phone was showing images on their on-line album - Picassa, for example. By deleting these from the smartphone you actually irretrievably delete them from Picassa (or whatever).
ReplyDeleteBest wishes - - - Richard
As Richard says, deleting the images from picassa web albums, removes them from your blog post too, thats if you did delete them Pete!
ReplyDeleteRichard/Warren....Both spot on here and a lesson for us all to learn from this computer 'clean up' exercise of mine.
ReplyDeleteTake note....BIN IMAGES IN AN ALBUM ON PICASA AND IF THEY HAPPEN TO BE IMAGES POSTED ON YOUR BLOG YOU DELETE THEM FROM THERE TOO....WITH NO RESTORE OPTION AVAILABLE EITHER AND DELETED FOR EVER.
Pete. This is serious and very unfortunate. I sincerely hope that Blogger will be able to reverse their actions. All that excellent work gone missing!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for this Brian.
ReplyDeleteBut I'm afraid to read what I say above to Richard and Warren is an indication its all my fault. Idiot comes to mind, the only good to come out of this is that I'm man enough to admit my idiocy.
